Co-Work Niagara

Cowork Niagara is where freelancers, social entrepreneurs and non-profit groups work, collaborate and make awesome stuff together.

Are you ready for a hyper-productive, enjoyable and friendly atmosphere where you’ll do your best work?

Are you ready to earn up to 30% more this year by finding new clients, giving them more value and spending less time collecting from them for the work you did?

Niagara Co-op Network

The Niagara Co-op Network was formed in 2014, thank to Ontario Trillium Foundation funding. The network assists Niagara co-operative champions with business development, offers networking opportunities and encourages co-ops to develop partnerships across industries. The NCN also encourages brand awareness and education about the role co-ops play in supporting successful social entrepreneurship. From food co-ops and credit unions, to professional services and retailers, co-op leaders in Niagara are all part of the Niagara Co-op Network. Niagara Community Bikes

My name is Collin and I’m the proud owner of Niagara Community Bikes. We are a non-profit organization looking to provide the community with affordable, reliable transportation. We are currently accepting bicycle donations, refurbishing and servicing the bikes, and offering them to individuals at an affordable price. This provides our local community with eco-friendly transportation. In the future, our goal is to grow into a full-time organization where people have the opportunity to learn the fundamentals of bicycle repair.

This will create economic and employment opportunities in the City of Welland and benefit the city’s less-fortunate citizens. Our mission is to help build a cycling friendly community by offering affordable, reliable transportation.

We based Niagara Community Bikes on the model of New Hope Community bikes in Hamilton. I have been volunteering there for two years, and felt the Niagara region could use something similar. In the future, we would like to collaborate with the Niagara school system and bring the educational portion of our service into the classroom. We, at Niagara Community Bikes, are asking for the opportunity to discuss possibilities and potential partnership with the City of Welland and its council. Sincerely Colin Ferguson
