Niagara Farm Project

Niagara Farm Project

Business Activities
The Niagara Farm Project is a starting point for people who are interested in exploring permaculture, sustainability, gardening, farming and/or leadership. As a collective they are following an ethical path that is dynamic by nature and symbolized in our environment. They take care of rather than take from. Each person involved seeks to improve their own contribution, building their own skills and abilities as they journey. This is how to contribute to the community, this is the definition of responsible.

Local Challenge(s) Addressed Through Regular Business Activities
The Niagara Farm Project is a collaborative organization that recognizes food production is an important ecosystem service that is central to human welfare. Our goal is to develop a system of farming, specific to Niagara, which establishes a self reliant food economy. This strategy is implemented with permaculture principles that protect our soil, water, air and biodiversity, securing our resources for generations to come. In time, we expect the residents of Niagara will begin to truly experience the definition of a healthy community.
